Ritual and Worship Committee
The Ritual and Worship Committee is tasked with the following
- Ensure that worship services, music, and religious practices adhere to the principles of Reform Judaism as outlined by the Union of Reform Judaism
- Encourage greater participation by the membership in such services
- Recommend any changes in practice or procedure to the Board of Trustees.
This year, the Ritual committee discussed and addressed many concerns that were brought to our attention. We also worked with our Clergy to prepare and review a congregational survey to help guide the committee in recommending changes to our worship opportunities. We appreciate all those who responded to the survey – your opinions were extremely helpful.
The committee is hard at work creating new and exciting worship services with our Clergy team as well as looking forward to receiving our examination copy of the Mishkan T'filah (the new prayer book) so we can determine which version we will purchase later this year.
