NINTH GRADE
Grade: 9
Theme/Topic: Jewish History, Comparative Religion, Jewish Relationships and Jewish Sexual Ethics
Special Event: CBI Retreat – February 1,2,3, 2008 at URJ Greene Family Camp. Also, 9th graders receive a blessing at Confirmation Services, Saturday, May 17th.
Rabbi Benjamin D. Sternman teaches our 9th grade class. 9th graders meet Sundays, from 9am until 11am.

How did we as a People get to where we are now?
What do the Jewish People believe?
What do I believe?
Who am I?
What does Judaism say about how I should treat myself and others?
 
Our Class Objective: The objective for 9th grade is to guide our students using Jewish tradition as they begin to explore who they are and who they want to become.
