Hebrew for Adults – Beginning
This liturgically based Hebrew class, a one-hour session, is designed for beginners who have had little or no Hebrew instruction. Basic Hebrew reading class in preparation for reading the siddur (the Jewish Prayerbook). This course is the Hebrew component for our Living a Jewish Life class and is required for conversion. There is a book fee for members. Non-congregation members fee: $100 / person.

Conversational Hebrew
Learn the joys of Modern Hebrew in a satisfying and enjoyable class for students interested in learning spoken language, grammar and syntax. No prior Hebrew knowledge is required. There is a book fee for members. Non-congregation members fee: $100 / person.
Class time to be determined based on registration. Either Wednesdays 12:15-1:45 pm, Wednesday Evenings 7:30-8:45 pm or Thursday Evenings - 7:30 - 8:45 pm (Note on registration form your choice)

Introduction to Biblical Hebrew and the Book of Ruth
This fascinating class is for students wishing to discuss Torah with a new understanding. Starting with a quick review of the aleph-bet (if needed) students will slowly learn the rules of Biblical grammar, translate simplified fables and folk-tales and culminate in the translation and discussion of the Book of Ruth. Students will be required to buy The First Hebrew Primer, Third Edition. Non-congregation members fee: $100 / person.
