Adult B'nei Mitzvah/Beit Midrash

This ongoing program is a course of study divided into discrete modules designed so that adults may begin to study for their B’nei Mitzvah at the beginning of any module. People who want an in-depth, regular course of study to advance their Jewish knowledge, but not become B’nei Mitzvah, can participate in the same classes offered to the adult B’nei Mitzvah students as part of our Beit Midrash program. 

• Class will be held starting in the Fall 2008.
• Classes are Thursday evenings from 7-9pm, Location: Room 312 in the Learning Center.
• The modules can be taken in any order 
• Modules include:  The Historical Perspective  •  Comparative Religions  • Philosophy and Theology  •  Ethics and Values  • Liturgy and Prayer  •  Adult Trope
• There is no fee for members of Congregation Beth Israel. The fee for non-members is $180.
